Walnut Olive Stuffing
1 loaf STAFF OF LIFE Herb Bread
1 can pitted olive pieces
2 cups walnut halves
¼ cup tamari soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups diced celery
1 cup diced onion
1 ½ cups water
2 bay leaves
½ cup butter (or substitute)
2 Tablespoons sage
Cube bread, then lay them out on a cookie sheet overnight to dry.
Melt ¼ cup butter in a frying pan and sauté the onion and celery and garlic until just tender. Add the remainder of the butter, the water, bay leaves and tamari and simmer for 20 minutes. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and the bread cubes. Pour the celery/onion stock over and mix well.
Bake in a covered casserole for about 20 minutes at 325°F or stuff inside turkey and Enjoy!
