Staff of Life Natural Foods began as a whole grain bakery in 1969. Over the years we have developed many locally renowned breads and pastries. We have since grown to a full service natural foods market.

- Prepare or assist in the preparation of baked goods including muffins, pastries, cookies, cakes, and breads with a focus on whole grains, and gluten free options.
- Maintain proper sanitation procedures. Observe all health and safety rules. Maintain, operate and sanitize all baking machinery;
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
- Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delicious baked goods.

- Knowledge of bakery procedures and policies.
- Comfort with whole grain, natural foods baking, gluten free baking, both pastries and bread preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Able to prioritize efficiently.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.

- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)

The Staff of Life is a local natural foods market. We have served the community since 1969. We are looking for qualified team players who are self-motivated, high energy, outgoing, who can be productive and enjoy working. Standing, lifting, smiling, ladder work and a lot of reaching are all to be expected. Experience preferred but not necessary. Benefits include sick pay and discounts on food.

• Stock product to the shelves
• Pull down back stock from the top shelf/back room
• Ensure the product on the shelves is organized and visually appealing
• Ensure that products are all faced by the end of the shift
• Greet EVERY customer that walks through the entrance and offer assistance.
• Happily assist customers
• Take customer special orders
• Face the shelf and dust as needed.
• Clean up any debris throughout the day
