My Favorite French Toast
The Mix: Add ¾ Can of Coconut Milk 1-3 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup 1 teaspoon of Nutritional Yeast
Mix the above ingredients then heat a frying pan or cast iron over medium heat. Add your preferred cooking oil to the pan. (I use “Earth Balance” ) While that’s heating up, dunk your favorite bread in the mix I suggest “Whole Grain Natural Bread Co.’s Apple Cinnamon Swirl Bread” *** To make this recipe gluten/wheat free just make sure your bread is gluten/wheat free … *** Once the pan seems hot, place the bread in the pan, let it cook about 5 minutes (don’t let it burn !! ) and flip it so the other side can cook. You'll know it’s done when the bread isn’t soggy anymore. Want to get really fancy? Crush some Macadamia Nuts, spread them on a plate, and coat the bread between dipping in the mix and frying …. Yum Yum ! |
